PPIC released a new survey. Here are some interesting tidbits:
Only 2% of Californians believe crime is the most important issue facing them today. (Down from 7% in 2024, at the height of the “smash and grab” / Prop. 36 panic)
Only 6% believe prisons / corrections should have the highest priority when it comes to state government spending. (7% in 2024)
