The Fair Chance Project is committed to protecting your privacy. This Policy applies to the Fair Chance Project’s collection and use of personal data in connection with our website, customer support and other services (collectively, the “Services”). For example, personal data may be collected if you visit the website or interact with us in person or during lectures or webinars. The terms “personal data” or “personal information” refer to information that can reasonably identify an individual.


We collect personal data that you provide to us by using the website, submitting ‘Contact Us’ forms, or otherwise interacting with us. Personal information is requested when you subscribe to email newsletters or complete an online form.

The Fair Chance Project currently utilizes the online Mailchimp email subscription service to manage address lists and newsletter mailings. Please review Mailchimp’s Privacy Policy here.


We may use your personal information in the following ways:

  • Information Requests: We send you information you request about the Fair Chance Project.

  • Marketing Communications: We may contact you about stories, news, updates, and promotions via your opt-in subscription to our email newsletter. If you would no longer like to receive such emails, please follow the “Unsubscribe” instructions at the end of each email. Your email address will be removed from our list. The Fair Chance Project website is a general audience site, and we do not sell products to children under the age of 13. We do collect information on our application form which is required to be signed by a parent or guardian if the form is being submitted by any candidate under age 18. The Fair Chance Project is compliant with all Federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) requirements. The Fair Chance Project does not sell your or any site visitors’ personal information.


For your convenience, we may provide links to other websites that we do not control. We also embed content from other sites, such as YouTube videos that are hosted at We cannot be responsible for the privacy practices of any websites not under our control and we do not endorse any of these websites, the services or products described or offered on such sites or any of the content contained on those sites.
